Test Corrections and Re-doing Assignments

As these first and second rounds of exams come back, you may start asking about the issues surrounding test corrections or having students re-do assignments.

This Educational Leadership article articulates the advantages to this type of learning for students. It's called Redos and Retakes Done Right.

This document from Jackson (NJ) School District is from elementary level but can be applied to secondary in many ways. It has some practical ways for implementing test corrections including things like how you might score the corrections. (ie. give half credit for corrections).
